Immo had a hard time in high school and surprised nobody when he dropped out and became a street performer. He tried various tricks: juggling, walking on glass and the link; but was never quite satisfied. This is until he tried being a human statue. He found that he had a knack for being completely unnoticeable when he stopped moving. To his surprise, this went beyond people just ignoring what was seemingly a statue. Instead, he became effectively invisible, even if somebody was specifically seeking him.
